                                         CLAUDIO ITURRA

Is my famous explorer. He was born in Santiago in 1980. He is known for his survival TV programmes and trips all over the world.
He studied journalism at Andres Bello University. He also made a course in the chilean Army.
Now he has a TV programme called transiberiano in chanel 13.

THE END

Seventh Day:

I am in Santiago again. I arrived by bus at 11 o'clock in the morning and from Alameda Bus Station I took the subway to my house.
It was a great trip and I had a great time.

5 and 6 day

Fifth day:

I am at the campsite today. It is in the middle of a forest. There are a lot of big trees It is full of mosquitoes but I will survive with my insect repellent. It is sunny today. I will go rafting at Trancura River in the morning. I will do canopy in the afternoon. 

Tomorrow night I´m going back to Santiago.

Sixth Day:
It is my last day in Pucon. It is foggy, but I am happy. I'm going caving to the Volcano Caves in the Morning. In the afternoon , I'm going to Coñaripe Hot Springs At night, I will take a bus to Santiago.

day 3 and 4

Third day:

This is me in the kayak I had a great time. Yesterday I took some pictures of the handcraft market too. There is one here. Now, it is six o'clock in the morning. I'm going to  go trekking to Villarrica volcano with a guide. I'm excited. I'm going to take my sunscreen and insect repellent we are going to climb to the top of the volcano. I'm going to take lots of photos. I'm going to use a rope.
 

 

Fourth day:

Villarrica volcano was  amazing  but very difficult to climb. It was full of snow. The weather was cloudy, windy and very cold and I forgot my gloves. I felt miserable but we went to the top. It was incredible and very beautiful. Today, I'm going to a campsite. It is cloudy and hot.  

day 1 and 2

First day:

I'm going to Pucon today. I'm going to take a bus at Alameda bus station at 10 PM. I'm going to take my sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellent.

I'm going to take waterproof clothes, my sleeping bag, a 

rucksack, a torch and a stove.

Second day:

I travelled all night. I arrived at 10 o'clock in the morning. Here I am  having breakfast in hotel Pucon. It is hot and sunny.
In the afternoon I'm going to go kayaking in the lake.

After that,I will go to the handcraft market.

                                  My adventure in Pucon

Pucon is located in the South of Chile near Temuco city. It is in the ninth Region.
The climate is cool and rainy in Spring and Autumn, but cold and snowy in winter. Summers can be hot and sometimes warm and rainy. Pucon has a big lake called Villarrica lake. There is also a big volcano. Besides the local people, including Mapuche people you can find foreigners from different countries.


How to get there?

From Santiago you can go by plane, by car or by bus. Pucon is at about 790 kilometers from Santiago. If you go by plane, it takes an hour and a half to Temuco, and from there it takes about 2 hours by car or by bus to get to Pucon.
If you go by bus or by car, take Highway 5 South. The trip is about 9 hours.
